Ned Fehally Frankenjura Cranking 19/01/2010
Ned Fehally, British Bouldering Champion has recently been out for his first visit to the Frankenjura, home of the grim pocket and the beastly boulder problem.Ned on Violation 8A+, a proud tick.... He has sent us the report below.... “Here is a bit of a tick list of stuff that I did... As well as loads up to 7c+ that I can’t remember the names of! We got taken to so many areas and problems it was hard to keep tabs on what you were falling off, or sometimes climbing! Here's a few of the highlights though.... Violation – 8a+ / Fueurzange – 8a+ / Billiard – 8a / Mickey Mouse – 8a V2 – 8a / Lucky Punch – 8a / Mr. Bombastic – 8a / Old School – 8a Big wall – 7c+/8a / The Hulk – 7c “We also put up a couple of highballs, the best being Donkey Punch, a 7b+ish wall on pockets (with a very hard sit start potential).
